We're thinking about moving out to Cyprus or Greece in the new year but have just been blown away by how much the house prices have risen in both places. Does anyone know why this is and when - or if - its likely to slow down?

I've travelled around the world alot before settling in Cyprus. The one thing I've noticed is that where ever ex-pats settle, the price of property rockets. So I guess what I'm saying is that the ex-pats themselves are responsible for the rising prices - not the developers as many people would like to suggest.
