The ARMY MEN series comes to the PlayStation 2 with ARMY MEN: Sarge’s Heroes 2, a direct sequel of the original PlayStation game. The game has 18 single-player missions that pit the Green Army leader, Sarge, and his troops against the enemy from the first game, General Plastro. This time Plastro and his Tan Army have recruited the help of Brigitte Bleu and her Blue Army to combat Sarge. The gameplay remains similar to that of the first game, with missions requiring the gamer to guide Sarge and his troops over realistic terrain that is many times bigger than the Army Men. The environments feature locations like graveyards and desktops. Each location is represented in 3D, and the Army Men battle in full 3D as well. There are numerous weapons to choose from, including many that are new to the series. This sequel combines the fun of the first game in the series with numerous upgrades to make it more varied and exciting.
