A British man living in Paphos has made history by becoming the islands first human bill-board. The man, known as Tommy, offered businesses the chance to bid for his body as a means of advertising their brand name. The auction held at Cyprus’s online auction site, goneinaday.com, ran for two weeks with businesses across the island vieing for a chance to be featured in a brand new and wholly unique advertising medium. Eventually the auction was won by Limassol’s leading PC company, Ultimark Solutions, who made a last minute winning bid of £150. As part of the auction Tommy was to wear the Ultimark brand for a week as he walked the streets of Paphos. |
